Wakil Menteri Desa dan Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal (Wamendes PDT) Ahmad Riza Patria mengatakan, program makan bergizi bukan hanya tentang memberikan makanan tetapi bagian dari upaya membangun budaya hidup sehat sejak dini.
“Anak-anak kita adalah aset bangsa yang berharga, masa depan Indonesia ada di tangan mereka maka gizinya harus dijaga sejak dini,” ujarnya saat menghadiri peluncuran program makan bergizi di SDN 10 Desa Batu Belubang, Kecamatan Pangkalanbaru, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, Bangka Belitung, Rabu.
Ia juga mengatakan, program makan bergizi merupakan langkah konkret yang mendukung program prioritas nasional dalam menurunkan angka stunting dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi langkah Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangka Tengah dalam memulai program ini. Tidak hanya memberikan makanan bergizi, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya gizi seimbang untuk tumbuh kembang anak,” ujar Riza lagi.
Pemerintah pusat kata Riza, siap memberikan dukungan baik dari segi pendanaan maupun pendampingan teknis agar program ini dapat berjalan secara berkelanjutan dan diperluas cakupannya ke seluruh sekolah.
“Kemudian tak kalah penting adalah perlunya membangun sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah untuk memastikan terpenuhinya kebutuhan gizi anak bangsa,” ujarnya.
Wakil Bupati Bangka Tengah Era Susanto mengatakan, program ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak usia dini.
“Kami berharap program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kesehatan anak tetapi juga berdampak terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar mereka di sekolah,” kata Era.
Pemkab Bangka Tengah mulai menjalankan program makan bergizi bagi pelajar SD ini secara masif pada 2025 yang didukung dengan penguatan anggaran.
“Hari ini kita luncurkan secara resmi program makan bergizi sebagai komitmen bersama dalam mendukung program strategis nasional ini,” ujarnya.
