Sejumlah warga negara Indonesia (WNI) menghabiskan akhir pekan mereka dengan menikmati keseruan festival drum Hongkong bertajuk “One Beat, One World: Connecting Through the Drum”, Minggu.
Mereka, yang umumnya para pekerja migran, datang bersama-sama menyaksikan festival tahunan yang berlangsung di Art Park, Distrik Budaya Kowloon Barat, Hong Kong tersebut.
“Karena ini memang acara tahunan kan, jadi kita mau happy-happy saja. Kita kan libur juga,” ujar Yani kepada ANTARA.
Yani, yang bekerja di daerah Tsing Yi, membutuhkan waktu sekitar satu jam menggunakan moda transportasi Mass Transit Railway (MTR) untuk tiba di lokasi festival.
Wanita yang telah bekerja selama delapan tahun di Hong Kong itu mengaku tidak ingin melewatkan keseruan festival yang digelar hanya sekali dalam setahun itu.
Selain itu, festival ini juga sebagai ajang bagi dirinya untuk bisa berkumpul bersama delapan orang temannya yang juga berasal dari Indonesia.
Para WNI tersebut bekerja di sejumlah wilayah di Hong Kong, seperti di Yau Tong, Tai Po, Wu Kai Sha, dan Lai Chi Kok.
“Kita bisa berkumpul semua, kita bahagia jalan-jalan di hari Minggu, bisa bertemu teman-teman di sini,” kata wanita asal Banyuwangi tersebut.
WNI lainnya yang juga hadir di festival tersebut, Emi, mengatakan dirinya berusaha untuk menyempatkan hadir di acara seperti ini untuk melepas penat usai bekerja selama satu minggu.
Wanita asal Magetan, Jawa Timur itu mengaku senang bisa menyaksikan pertunjukan drum yang megah dengan melibatkan penabuh-penabuh kelas dunia.
